About Wrapped Sonic

Wrapped Sonic is the ERC-20 representation of S, Sonic's gas coin, produced by a wrapper contract that holds the coin one-for-one. Smart contracts cannot handle a native coin directly, so wS is what decentralised exchanges and lending markets on Sonic actually trade. It has no custodian: the wrapper contract itself holds the backing.
