About Wrapped POL

Wrapped POL is the ERC-20 form of POL, the gas coin of Polygon PoS, and was called WMATIC before the MATIC-to-POL migration. The contract custodies the deposited coins itself and unwraps on demand. It is the quote asset of most Polygon liquidity pools.
