About Wrapped Mantle

Wrapped Mantle is the ERC-20 representation of MNT, Mantle's gas coin, produced by a wrapper contract that holds the coin one-for-one. Smart contracts cannot handle a native coin directly, so WMNT is what decentralised exchanges and lending markets on Mantle actually trade. It has no custodian: the wrapper contract itself holds the backing.
