About Wrapped BERA

Wrapped BERA is the ERC-20 representation of BERA, Berachain's gas coin, produced by a wrapper contract that holds the coin one-for-one. Smart contracts cannot handle a native coin directly, so WBERA is what decentralised exchanges and lending markets on Berachain actually trade. It has no custodian: the wrapper contract itself holds the backing.
