About TerraUSD (Wormhole)

UST (Wormhole) is TerraUSD bridged off the original Terra chain through Wormhole. The algorithmic peg that was supposed to hold it at a dollar collapsed in May 2022 and the underlying chain was abandoned, so the token no longer tracks a dollar and the remaining supply is a stranded position rather than a stablecoin.
