About Liquity USD

LUSD is the stablecoin of Liquity v1, minted as interest-free debt against ether collateral in a system with no governance and no upgradeable contracts. Its dollar peg is held by direct redemption: anyone may swap LUSD for the underlying ETH at face value, which caps how far below a dollar it can trade.
