About JPY Coin

JPYC is a yen-pegged stablecoin issued by JPYC Inc. as a registered Japanese Funds Transfer Service Provider (Kanto Local Finance Bureau No. 00099), which carries a statutory obligation to redeem it for yen. It is deployed at the same address on Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche and Kaia. Two earlier JPYC contracts also report the symbol JPYC but are a discontinued prepaid instrument with no cash redemption right, and they quote far above the yen on dust liquidity; only the address recorded here is the redeemable token.
