About Avalanche Bridged Bitcoin

BTC.b is bitcoin bridged directly from the Bitcoin network to Avalanche by the Avalanche Bridge, which holds the BTC that backs it. It is not wrapped BTC arriving from Ethereum, and its backing depends on that bridge rather than on the Bitcoin network.
