About Alchemix ETH

alETH is Alchemix's synthetic ether, minted when a user borrows against ETH-denominated collateral in a self-repaying Alchemix vault. Each alETH is a claim on one ETH of future yield from that collateral, so it targets parity with ETH; in practice it has often traded at a discount when redemption capacity is tight.
